OK so Sergio Rodriguez is now the Knicks starting pg. He dropped 18pts/5rebs/6asts/2stls/1blk on the Celtics. I would love to put him in my lineup, but im stacked. The best i could do is to drop AK47 for him and that's not gonna happen.

So much talent and no where to put it...

Drop'em like they're HOT!!
So i jumped on the Josh Howard in Washington bandwagon like quite a few people in some of my for fun leagues. Well he's DONE for the year, ACL tear. Dropped him in all of my leagues and picked up Al Thornton in a few and Mike Miller in others.

And the winners are....
So it looks like both of my hunches proved fruitful. Blatche is a hit with Jamison gone and it looks like Tyrus Thomas is headed to Charlotte and 30mins+ per game the rest of the way. As a side not a IR pick from a few weeks ago may also pay dividends as Francisco Garcia is gonna get a ton of run now that Kev-Mart is headed to Houston. All in all I'm pretty happy with everything that has happened. The only downer is that John Salmons being traded to Milwaukee might impinge on Carlos Delfino, but I think Carlos will be ok(If not Franciso is only an ir adjustment away).
Current Roster:
Deron Williams, Uta PG
J.R. Smith, Den SG
Carlos Delfino, Mil SF, SG
Shawn Marion, Dal SF, PF
Brook Lopez, NJ C
Jason Kidd, Dal PG
Andrei Kirilenko, Uta SF, PF
Dwight Howard, Orl C
Rajon Rondo, Bos PG
Antawn Jamison, Cle PF
Rudy Gay, Mem SF
Tyrus Thomas, Chi PF
Andray Blatche, Was PF, C
Francisco Garcia, Sac SF, SG

Washington, Dallas, and Centers oh my.
So with the Washington trade going down during the break I was looking at ways to leverage the deals to improve my squad. The trade breaks out as follows:
Dallas gets:
Caron Butler
Brendan Haywood
DeShawn Stevenson
Washington gets:
Josh Howard
Drew Gooden
Quinton Ross
So of all the pieces involved only Gooden is available but he is probably going to be a bench player for Washington as they are going to evaluate the talent they have. This brings us to players whose playing time will increase with this deal. Randy Foye and Andre Blatche should see an increase in minutes, of those two only Blatche was available once I hit the boards. I ended up dropping Salmons for Blatche. Hopefully Blatche will produce like he did earlier in the year when he was starting.

Players and playing time...
Well I'm getting anxious again. I'm reviewing Anthony Tolliver, Nazr Mohammed, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, and Boris Diaw.
Anthony Tolliver - Strong play of late, from what I've read he hit a ton on 3s in the D-league.
Nazr Mohammed - Traditional center type. Last productive season was in 04-05 with 11pts/8rebs.
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute - Decent pts/rebs with some hustle stats.
Boris Diaw - Little bit of everything, but it really is a "litte bit".
I'm leaning toward Tolliver at this point. Rebs/pts/3s in a big man are a hard stat to come by.

All Star Break - Thoughts and concerns...
So this past week(Feb 10) I dropped Randy Foye for Donte Green with the thought that he would continue to produce at a high level(Green had been averaging 20.0 pts over his last 4 games). This wasn't the case as he proceeded to produce a stinker(6pts in 15min) on Feb 10.
I have since dropped Green in favor of John Salmons. Both Salmons and my roster step-child Tyrus Thomas are at the center of numerous trade rumors. I'm gambling that their situations improve with a trade and have thus rostered both parties. Even if their situations don't improve their stats are comparable to most of the WW fodder out there atm.
Hopefully there are some trades to breakdown soon.

First post.
Ok so I play alot of Fantasy Sports and thought that I might take a shot at blogging about my addiction. This is the main league im running in. This weeks transactions consisted of dropping Channing Frye for Ron Artest. I am gambling that Artest is beginning to show signs of life and since Frye is in a time share with Robin Lopez until Amare is traded i figured what the hell.
